The Brise Soliel

This Mid 90s Construction had extremely poor soil and astro turf  prior to this design by Foat Griffin. The client wanted to keep the parking space whilst creating a densely planted space for them to enjoy year round. With a large row of victorian terrace houses as a backdrop the mid day sun here was intense. 

We removed several tonnes of builders waste to allow decent depth to support the 3 Birch trees. We saved the jasmines which in the coming year will be perfuming the seating area beneath the cedar brise soliel.
